Rittenhouse previously announced his intentions of enrolling at Texas A&M; however, according to a spokeswoman with the school he will no longer attend in September.

Last year, an 18-year-old who was cleared of charges related to a triple shooting that claimed two lives during racial justice protests in Wisconsin announced his intention to attend A&M University during “The Charlie Kirk Show” by wearing a baseball cap with its logo as high school athletes often do when announcing their choice for college attendance.

Kyle Rittenhouse is currently enrolled as an online non-degree-seeking student, which allows for him to take classes for transfer credit, personal development or prerequisites to desired programs, according to University spokesperson Jay Thorne in an email to The Star. According to Thorne, Kyle is not attending Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation either.
